How it works

Set up once: upload your CV → “I don’t have a CV – enter details” → “Fill the form from my uploaded CV” → check personal details, experience, education and skills → “Save CV data” → save your cover-letter format. Every next job: paste the job description → ✨ Tailor my CV to this job → download. Sample data and an AI voice – no real person.

Set up once – about 10 minutes

  1. Upload your CV. Resume → “Upload a file” → “Upload CV” (Word or PDF).
  2. Open the form. Click “I don’t have a CV – enter details”, then “Fill the form from my uploaded CV”. RJethai reads your CV into the app’s format.
  3. Check every section once. Personal details (name, address, e-mail, phone), Profile, Work experience (job title, company, dates and bullet points per job), Education, Skills (one line per group, e.g. “Data analytics: Power BI, SQL”), Languages and Certificates. Correct anything that was read wrongly and add links or a photo.
  4. Choose your look. Pick a layout, a colour, the CV language and your photo.
  5. Press “Save CV data”. Your CV is now stored in this browser and used for every application.
  6. Save your cover-letter format. Cover letter → section 3: write your own letter once with placeholders like {{company}}, {{role}} and {{top_skills}}, then press “Save format” (German and English possible).

Every application – about 1 minute

  1. Paste the job description. Company and position are detected; if a field says “Not found”, type it in.
  2. Press ✨ Tailor my CV to this job. The AI rewrites your profile and experience bullet points in the posting’s words, puts the most relevant points first, translates on request and writes the cover letter – using only facts from your CV. New numbers or skills are blocked.
  3. Check what’s missing. The orange box lists requirements your CV doesn’t show. Tap ＋ only for skills you really have – they are worked into your experience and skills. Choose which jobs to tailor under “Tailoring options”.
  4. Look at the scores. Match and ATS score show how well your CV fits the posting and how easily applicant-tracking software can read it.
  5. Download. “Preview & download” → Word or PDF, for both CV and cover letter. “Save application” keeps it in your list.

No AI credit left? The keyword-based tailoring still works: it uses the posting’s spelling for skills you have, sorts your bullet points and highlights keywords.

Tips for German applications

Keep it to 2 pagesA Lebenslauf is usually 1–2 pages. If yours is longer, try text size “Small” and spacing “Compact”.
Newest firstList jobs and education in reverse order – most recent at the top.
Photo is optionalA professional photo is still common in Germany, but not required. You can hide or remove it at any time.
Personal data is optionalDate of birth and nationality are not required. Switch them off under “More editing options”.
Send as PDFMost companies prefer PDF. Name files clearly, e.g. “Lebenslauf_Vorname_Nachname.pdf”.
Tailor the first paragraphName the role and the 2–3 requirements you match best – the letter format does this with {{top_skills}}.

Questions

Where is my data saved?

Only in this browser on this device (browser storage). If you clear your browser data or use another browser or device, it won’t be there. Your documents are not stored on our servers. When you use AI tailoring, the text of your CV, the job posting and (if any) your cover letter are sent encrypted to our AI provider Anthropic to create the tailored version, and are not stored by us; without AI everything stays in your browser. For your account we only store your e-mail address, how many documents and AI tailorings you have used and your subscription status.

Does the AI invent anything?

No. The AI may only reword, reorder and translate what your CV says, using the job posting’s words where your CV describes the same thing. New numbers are blocked automatically, and anything the posting asks for that your CV doesn’t show is listed in a warning instead of being added. You see every change highlighted and can undo it.

How many AI tailorings do I get?

The free trial includes a few AI tailorings. Pro includes 150 per month – far more than you need for daily applications. The same CV with the same posting counts only once, and the counter is shown in your account. After the limit everything else keeps working without AI until the next month.

What does it cost?

Your first 3 CVs and 3 cover letters are free. After that, RJethai Pro costs $4.99 / month incl. tax (the price is shown in your local currency – e.g. ₹ in India, € in Europe, $ elsewhere), for unlimited CVs and cover letters. Payment is handled by our reseller Paddle, which charges the correct tax for your country and sends the invoice. Downloading the same document again (same CV, same job posting) does not count twice. You can cancel at any time to the end of the month under “Cancel subscription” / „Verträge hier kündigen“.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Open the site on your phone and choose “Install app” (Android) or Share → “Add to Home Screen” (iPhone). Your account and subscription work on every device; your saved CV stays on the device where you entered it.

Does it need internet?

Yes, to load the page’s fonts and its Word and PDF readers. Your documents themselves stay in your browser.

How do I save a PDF with colours?

In “Preview & download”, press “Save as PDF” and choose “Save as PDF” as the printer. Turn on “Background graphics” so the name band and the coloured sidebar print, and turn off “Headers and footers”.

Can I keep my own Word layout?

Yes. Upload your Word CV and don’t tick “Use these colours and photo for my Word CV”. The keyword changes are then made inside your original file.

Something was read wrongly from my PDF.

PDFs store text in small pieces, so a word can occasionally be split or merged. Press “Edit my CV details in the form”, correct it there, and press “Save CV data”.

How does the keyword sync decide?

It compares the posting with a list of data, BI, logistics and business keywords in German and English, plus tools and terms it finds in the posting itself. It uses the posting’s exact wording for skills your CV already shows, and never rewrites your sentences. With “Optimise for ATS” on, it also adds the posting’s missing keywords under “Additional skills” – remove anything you don’t really have with ×.

Save your own letter format once. For every job, the tool fills in the company, location, role, date and greeting, puts in your matching skills, and keeps the bullet points that fit the posting best. The format for the chosen letter language (top right) is used.

How the format works (placeholders)

Filled in automatically: {{name}} {{name_upper}} {{address_line}} {{city}} {{email}} {{phone}} {{date}} · from the posting: {{company}} {{company_location}} {{role}} {{salutation}} · from the match: {{top_skills}} (your 3 strongest matching skills), {{matched}} (all matching skills), {{gaps}} (up to 2 requirements not in your CV) and {{gaps_verb}} (is/are · ist/sind).

Fallback text: {{top_skills|Reporting und SQL}} uses the text after | when nothing matches.

Bullet points: every line starting with • is a candidate. The tool keeps the number you set above, most relevant first. Write more bullets than you need so it can choose.

Optional paragraphs: [[if gaps]]…[[end]] only appears when the posting asks for something your CV doesn’t show; [[if !gaps]]…[[end]] only when it doesn’t.
